Directly affiliated departments of Nanning Municipality, science and technology departments of counties (districts) in Nanning, associations for science and technology, international scientific and technological cooperative bases, overseas talents introduction stations, higher education institutions, research institutions, innovation and entrepreneurship platforms, enterprises and individuals.

With the approval of Talents Work Leading Group of CPC Nanning Committee, 2019 Nanning International Elites Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition will be held to implement the Notice on Deepening Human Resources Development Reform to Build the Talents Highland in China-ASEAN Region.
In the morning of June 26,2019 Nanning International Elites Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition launch ceremony was held in Nanning Zhongguancun Innovation Demonstration Base.
The competition is hosted by Talents Work Leading Group of CPC Nanning Committee,Organized by: Organization Department of CPC Nanning Committee, Nanning Science and Technology Bureau, Nanning Foreign Experts Affairs Bureau, Nanning Association for Science and Technology, Nanning Foreign Affairs Office, Nanning Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone Administration Committee.
Awards
There will be 2 first prize winners, 4 second prize winners, 6 third prize winners and numerous recognition awards recipients.aThe first place and second place in the final will be the First Prize winners, and will be automatically included in Nanning Innovation and Entrepreneurship Leaders “Yong Jiang” Project with 500 thousand to 10 million RMB as prize money on the condition that the project is launched in Nanning. (The exact amount of prize money will be determined through further deliberation).bThe third, fourth, fifth and sixth place in the final will be the Second Prize winners, and will be granted minimum amount of 300 thousand RMB as prize money per winner on the condition that the project is launched in Nanning.cThe seventh to twelfth place in the final will be the Third Prize winners, and will be granted minimum amount of 150 thousand RMB as prize money per winner on the condition that the project is launched in Nanning.dThose ranked in the top 50% of each group in the semi-final but haven’t been selected as the first, second and third prize winners, will be awarded the recognition honor.eSecond & Third Prize winners and recognition honor recipients can submit the materials for ‘Yong Jiang” Project and will receive priority over other competitors in the selection process. Fund for the “Yong Jiang” Project will be 500 thousand to 10 million RMB.

Participation
Entry (June 20-July 22). Participants from home and abroad are welcome to enter the competition through the competition official website http://www.nieiec.com/ or the official website of Nanning Science and Technology Bureau http://kjj.nanning.gov.cn/ . The participants should be responsible for the correctness and authenticity of the materials submitted.
Eligibility
1.A participant can be a group, an individual, a higher education institution, a research institute or an enterprise who has core technology and is willing to launch the project and commercialize it in Nanning.2.Project manager or at least one key member of the team (including shareholders, co-founders or senior management personnel) should have at least 1 year of work/study experience in country/region out of Mainland China.
3.The projects should be in the fields of electronic information, advanced equipment manufacturing, new material, new energy, energy conservation & environmental protection, medical apparatus and instruments, biology and/or pharmaceuticals, scientific and technological finance, and modern agriculture.
4.A participant should have full ownership of the intellectual property right and no related disputes. Those who have only a part of the intellectual property right shall submit the authorization to participate in the competition by other co-owners.
5.Groups/Enterprises/Individuals participating in the competition should abide by Chinese laws, enjoy good reputation and have no bad record.
6.There is no limitation on the nationality of participant, where the enterprise/organization is registered, how long the enterprise has been registered or its size.
7.Those who have already been funded by Nanning city-level government, awarded the first, second or third prize in the last edition of the Competition or the previous Nanning Innovation & Entrepreneurship Contests, are not qualified to participate in this year’s competition using the same project.
